It has been a really long time since I updated this website. To say I ran out of steam for the project would be both an understatement and an oversimplification. Living thousands of kilometers away from my family it has been too easy for this whole thing to slip from my mind, especially since the pandemic when opportunities to visit became a lot less frequent. On top of this, I faced a lot of difficulties in my personal life, which I won't divulge here, but they were certainly influential.
Despite this, i do still believe that there are people out there with the knowledge and ability to bring this project to peoples' attention, and i also believe that if the right people are made aware of the project's existence, that it could gain something of an inertia or momentum to steer it back on track. The problem is that I have no idea where to begin.
I visited Granddad last month for the first time since the pandemic began. He has deteriorated quite a lot since I last saw him. Not just physically, but also in spirit. This served as a reminder that the clock is still ticking- with or without my efforts- and perhaps he doesn't have long left.
